This organization is only as useful as the efforts its individual members are willing to
invest in it. Come to the annual conference, write an article
for the newsletter, or volunteer to be a board member or
committee chair.
Share your ideas and build networks. Making
connections is as simple as picking up the phone. Most of
us are neglectful when it comes to calling people we’ve
never met, or from newspapers that are dramatically different
in size than ours. We challenge you to look outside the scope
of your comfort level and broaden your network to include
others.
Help bring new members to our organization. Look
around your region and notice who isn’t represented in
N.I.C.E. Please let other circulation executives in your area
know about our organization and why it’s beneficial to be a
member.
